Tamland
Being a student can be very overwhelming, and entering the college? Well, that’s a whole other beast! So, in the spirit of giving hope to the younger folks going through that journey, we partnered with Tamland and made this pre-roll to advertise their educational services. In this fast-paced stop motion, we wanted to show how Tamland can make studying a breeze, helping students navigate through the never ending piles of resources and study materials. We created our whole world out of notebook papers and tried to only use school-related elements in the video. And let’s not forget Tamland’s
CHARACTER
In this BTS video you get to see how we brought the Tamland’s mascot to life; a 7.5 inch puppet with animatable hair strands and magnetic eye and mouth replacements. One of the challenges of dealing with a brand’s mascot is making sure that the hand-crafted replica matches the original illustrations exactly, so we did our best to keep accurate proportions in the puppet. In addition to the puppet, here you can see some tidbits from the making process of other props, the background and of course, the animating.
